We had a busy transfer week in the Norway Oslo Mission! We were excited to welcome 1 Elder and 3 Sisters on Tuesday afternoon.

Here some pictures from the past few weeks. We attended a wonderful baptism in Romerike recently.  It was a beautiful snowy day. We are so happy for Trude, and our Sister Missionaries who shared in teaching her.

We had a fantastic leadership training meeting in Oslo last week. Missionary travel in Norway is challenging with so many moving parts. Our goal was to have all the district leaders, zone leaders, and sister training leaders in Oslo for a day of training. Our Vest ZC was held in Bergen on a very stormy Wednesday! The missionaries were happy to be out of the weather for a few hours in the beautiful Bergen church building. We love these missionaries and their goodness. Our focus this transfer has been baptism, service, and the proper use of technology.  It was a great day!

On to Oslo and our combined East and South ZC with our largest group of happy missionaries. We are always thrilled when the planes, car, trains, and buses carrying our missionaries arrive without problems. Our first zone conference for the transfer was held in Trondheim. Our northern missionaries  were excited to travel south and see the light! Some of them have been without the sun since November! They are amazing, fearless and strong! We love the energy these missionaries bring with them. It was a great day!!!

Our mission leadership council met last week in the mission home. Our agenda was packed and we discussed, planned, and prepared for zone conference and the transfer ahead. We welcomed 2018 by inviting the missionaries from Drammen, Sandvika, Oslo, and Romerike to the mission home. They enjoyed our version of Cafe Rio salads and played games. We squeezed in our first transfer training just before Christmas. It is always a highlight and this group was a lot of fun. They came prepared to learn and our time together was wonderful.
