The Christmas market in Oslo is amazing. Sister Robinson and I took a few hours to do a little shopping and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
A few weeks ago we traveled from Oslo to Trondheim by train. We stopped in the magical village of Rorøs for a few hours. We felt as if we were on the Polar Express as we traveled north through the snowy landscape. The town is beautiful and quaint. It could be in any movie! The streets were covered in snow…
The Norway Oslo Mission Christmas Zone Conferences were held on December 5th and 6th in Oslo with half of the mission attending each day. Both mornings President Hill spoke about “A Mighty Change of Heart.” He told of his first mission to Norway and the valuable lessons he learned about the true meaning of Christmas. Brother Weggersen from Drammen shared…
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with our daughter Renee and 3 of her children. This is beautiful Oslo from the Holmenkollen Ski Jump. The weather was perfect and they loved being around the missionaries. Our son from London joined us for a few days too! A perfect Thanksgiving weekend! And of course the Turkey Bowl…. We tried several fields before…
These 3 sweet sisters have completed their missions! They arrived for their final day in Oslo on a very snowy Wednesday. We had to make some last minute changes to the day because our new missionaries arriving from the MTC were delayed a night in Amsterdam…so they were arriving on the same day these sisters were preparing to leave. We…
Last week our Senior Couples gathered in Oslo for a few days. We were able to be taught by President Hill, discuss important mission issues, share ideas, and get to know each other better. Our couples bless the members and the missionaries with their goodness and willingness to serve in Norway.

The replica sits in Knaphus, Norway, about 40 miles from Haugesund. There is a plaque next to the Shell Gas Station to honor his memory….
Our “first transfer training” is a highlight for the new missionaries and President Hill and me! This was one to remember with 14 missionaries and their trainers in attendance. We decided to divide the group in half so we could more easily accommodate everyone. We spent a wonderful 2 days with each group. What a wonderful missionaires! We are so…
It has been a beautiful fall in Norway! The Bergquists (on the left) have joined our mission. They will serve as the YSA couple in Olso. Welcome to Norway Elder and Sister Bergquist. The first Zone Leader Training was held in Bergen. Elder Hansen and Elder Burgoyne are the Zone Leaders and they did a wonderful job planning the conference…

Our kitchen has been recently remodelled so it is easier to make sure everyone is well fed. The missionaries love the spirit that they…
