We were thrilled to have the sisters together in Oslo for a conference this week. Our theme was “Be of good courage and the Lord will strengthen thy heart.”
We had lots of help from the senior couples. Our speakers were wonderful! Our classes were taught by both members and senior missionaries. A special thanks to them all! After 36 hours together it was hard to say to say good bye. Our mission has awesome sisters, and we are grateful for the sweet relationships they have with each other and with the members in Norway.

Some of the cute decorations created by Sister Cardon. The beautiful Balloon bouquets were made by Elder Cardon.

Sister Olsen teaching the sisters how to bargain grocery shop using the newspaper adds and weekly specials.

We loved hearing from Sister Marit Pedersen from Drammen. She shared experiences from her mission to England.

A few sweets. Rice Krispies treats…. made with potato chips (which are much less expensive in Norway) Pumpkin cookies, chocolate chip bars and cereal cookies (made with crushed corn flakes which are also a bargin here!)

Sister Karen Hill sharing a wonderful message about gratitude…She has only been in Norway for 2 1/2 weeks! We are grateful for her willingness to jump right in!

Sister Bente Karlsson shared a short history of Norway and an overview of the holidays celebrated in Norway.

We had a wonderful panel of return missionaries speak on Tuesday night. We Loved hearing from Julie Kittlesen, Tora Nyman and Mariell Wall. It was a great night!

Sister Camilla Sterri and Sister Julie Ånestad. We are grateful for their wonderful messages. We loved hearing about the Sterri family as they embraced the challenges of living in several foreign countries. “Bloom Where You’re Planted!” Sister Ånestad shared memories from her mission to England.

Thank you again for amazing pictures!! Love seeing how happy they are! And…what a great conference!! So grateful for all the things my daughter is learning while on her mission!
Thank you so much for the extra pictures. We are serving in the Frankfurt, German mission at the same time our Kayley is serving there with you in Norway. It thrills us to hear how much she loves her mission and the missionaries she serves with and her dear Mission President and his wife. Your blog here is such a wonderful extra “touch point” for families back home (and here). I know it takes time to do it but we all so very much appreciate it. Thank you again.
