A busy few weeks…

Interviewing missionaries in Romerike on Tuesday…

This is Barbara. She is a wonderful ward memeber who is always willing to help the missionaries. She is an expert selfie taker!

On Wednesday night the member and missionaries of the Sandvika Ward volunteered as “helping hands” to clean up a beach along the fjord.

Elder Bleggi and Elder Mitchell were asked to take copies of the Book of Mormon to the theatre in Oslo where the musical, The Book of Mormon will play in Septmeber. They met with the cast on Thursday and had a wonderful experience sharing their testimonies and answering questions about the church.

Thursday afternoon the assistants dropped by with a new mission van!

The Romerike sisters were on splits in Drammen. We delivered some cold medication to Sister Davidson and were met by this group of happy sisters! Sister Love, Sister Davidson, Sister Hess, Sister Sorensen, and Sister Reid

Friday night we traveled to Tønsberg for the ward culture night. It was a beautiful drive and we enjoyed a wonderful few hours with the members and missionaries.

Saturday we drove to Drammen again. This time to interview missionaries. They were having a ward cleaning day and these missionaries were busy cleaning the chapel. Elder Mitchell, Elder Decker, Elder Nelson and Elder Mickelson

It was Sister Loves birthday on Sunday. We found a birthday graffiti wall and had to take a picture.

Sunday dinner at the mission home with our former missionary Elder Rolfson (who returned to Norway to do a 6 week internship), the assistants, and Elder Beck & Elder Killpack (and it just happened to be Elder Killpack’s birthday)!

On Monday Armand and Julie Johansen dropped by for a visit. They were Mission President and wife here 5 years ago. Armand was also the first and last companion to President Hill many years ago when they served as young missionaries in Norway!

We went for a drive to Nesøya. Beautiful!!

Tuesday we had a mission wide webx. President Hill gave an awesome presentation on accountability. Thanks to technology the whole mission spent a wonderful hour together this morning.
