Visitors and Easter week…

We are always thrilled when our children and grandchildren come to visit. We had a wonderful few days with our daughter Renee and her daughters Kylee and Summer.

A dip in the fjord! Kind of, not really! It was still frozen until just a few weeks ago so they put their legs in 🙂

We will miss Summer’s baptism in June. We took some pictures by the fjord in her beautiful dress on Sunday morning.

Our wonderful Saturday night mission wide Easter webex. We love seeing the faces of all our missionaries (From Alta to Kristiansand and Bergen to Sarpsborg and everywhere in betweeen…Some are a thousand miles apart) and modern technology makes it happen! We had the opportunity to hear testimonies from the Hills and the Gormleys and also President and Sister Hill. It was a sweet addition to our Easter weekend.

Sister Ralphs and Sister Dransfield on the way into the Insitute talked to this young man. 6:00 p.m., Saturday night on Easter weekend in Oslo….not many people on the streets.

We witnessed wonderful acts of service as the YSA and the missionaires helped to decorate for Balliaden ( a celebration held each year to bring the youth in Norway together for a few days over their spring holiday). It was an awesome event.

We had dinner with the Pedersen family in Drammen last week. They took us to this beautiful overlook near their home. We are continually amazed at the beauty of Norway!
